Jisc Networkshop 2024
Block exhibited at the Jisc Networkshop Event at Nottingham Trent University on the 18-19 June.
Networkshop brought together IT decision-makers from education, research, and the public sector to navigate the dynamic landscape of connectivity and develop practical strategies to power positive change.
This year’s programme covered:
- Empowering people – developing strategies for diverse talent management, how to cultivate an innovative and productive workforce for the future, and build user-centric, accessible networks to adapt to evolving user needs
- Driving innovation and transformation – explored the latest trends and innovations in connectivity and emerging technologies
- Optimising infrastructure – practical strategies to ensure your networks are agile, scalable and seamlessly aligned with dynamic demands
- Strengthening security – the latest developments in network security to increase your resilience against a changing threat landscape
We know that digital transformation can only succeed when built on architectures that are highly reliable, adaptable, and secure, so we spoke about our Future Ready Networks and showcased how a smarter foundation can help to tame complexity, empower staff and promote better student experiences.
On Tuesday 18th June 2024 Phil Lews, Account Director for Education at Block quizzed our Smart Building Practice Lead, Ben Lavelle, gathering insights from his years of working on the frontline of smart building tech deployments.
