Block announces exceptional performance for its 2018 fiscal year

Block Group announces a year of exceptional growth with revenues increasing by 69% to £41.45m for the financial year ended 30th June 2018. Resultant operating profit increased by 530% to £2.27m with EBITDA increasing by 376% to £3.12m.

The Group continues to provide expert consultancy as a key part of its focus on large transformation programmes, with over 5000 days sold within the reporting period. This approach is centred on building trusted relationships with forward-thinking clients, and has resulted in the achievement of several high-profile ‘industry first’ engagements.

The Group’s commitment to quality outcomes, vertical expertise and innovation has also been recognised by Cisco in the recent triple-award of EMEAR Vertical Solution, UKI Public Sector and UKI Architectural Excellence Partner of the Year. Clients include several high-profile brands such as Harrods, Nike, Westfield, The Francis Crick Institute, Barts Health NHS Trust, Imperial NHS Trust and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Managed Services remain fundamental to the group’s approach, offering clients invaluable support in adopting and optimising their technology investments. An increase in the number of high-quality, multi-year service agreements is reflected in revenue growth of 44%.
