Block named as a G-Cloud 14 approved supplier
Block is pleased to announce our selection as a supplier on Lot 1 of the G-Cloud 14 framework.
What is G-Cloud?
The G-Cloud framework, launched by the UK government in 2012, promotes cloud adoption across the public sector. This purchasing framework enables UK public sector organisations to easily select and procure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and specialist cloud services from approved suppliers.
What does this mean for Block and our clients?
As a G-Cloud 14 digital marketplace approved supplier, Block will be able to offer our public sector clients our workspace services on Lot 1:
Lot 1 – Cloud Hosting – Platform or infrastructure services for running software, networking, or processing and storing data.
- Clinical Workspace Service (VDI) is a cloud-based virtual desktop service that gives care workers access to all the clinical systems, information and tools they need to provide safe, effective care services securely from any location.
- Primary Care Workspace is a cloud-based virtual desktop service that gives care workers access to all the clinical systems, information and tools they need to provide safe, effective care services from within the surgery or across remote locations.
