Background

The Trust decided it was time for a change, replacing its incumbent cyber partner with an in-house team, supplemented by an outsourced Security Operations Centre (SOC).

The SOC would deal with high and critical severity security incidents as they happen, allowing the in-house team to focus on the strategic work the Trust wanted to undertake to mature its cyber security posture.
