Block will be at the HSJ Digital Transformation Summit 2026
Block will be at the HSJ Digital Transformation Summit on 5th-6th February 2026 at The Queen at Chester.
The summit takes place annually and is open to ICB board members, NHS Trust board members, and digital leaders.
There’ll be a mix of peer-to-peer learning through interactive workshops as well as guest speakers from clinical and tech experts in the space, including Block.
This year’s focus will look at how Trusts can continue introducing the NHS 10 Year Digital Plan into operational delivery.
Key themes include:
- EPR optimisation and intelligent automation
- Interoperability through shared care records and data
- Rebuilding NHS productivity
- Accelerating AI adoption
- Using digital for preventative care
- Building digital equity through the NHS app
- Scaling the NHS tech stack with resilience
Why is Block going?
Block has been working with NHS Trusts for more than two decades, delivering network infrastructure, collaboration tools, and smart building technology.
We’ve been involved in multiple projects to get Trusts EPR-ready and beyond. Plus, we’ve just completed work on the UK’s first ever smart hospital (National Rehabilitation Centre) for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
We’ll be hosting an interactive discussion group to share our findings. And we’re also bringing along Jamie Clegg, former Digital Strategy Lead at NUH, and now Head of Digital Innovation at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Trust.
