Block secures Cyber Essentials Plus

We’re excited to share that Block has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, a government-backed security standard that proves we’re doing all the right things to protect ourselves and our clients from today’s most common (and dangerous) cyber threats.

While the basic Cyber Essentials certification is a great foundation, Plus takes it a step further. It’s not just about having the right policies on paper, it involves an in-depth, hands-on technical audit of our systems to make sure those security controls are properly implemented and actually working.

That’s what makes this so meaningful to us. It’s not just a checkbox – it’s external validation that the work we’re doing to secure our environment is on the right track.

It’s also a reflection of the kind of partner we strive to be. Many of the organisations we work with, particularly in healthcare, education, and other critical services, face serious challenges when it comes to cyber security. They need confidence that the people supporting them understand those risks and are actively doing something about it. This certification proves that we are.

It tells our clients we take security seriously. It shows our teams that the investments and processes we’ve put in place are working. And it gives us a strong platform to continue evolving how we approach cyber – for ourselves, and for the people who trust us.
