Block is attending UCISA26 Leadership Summit
The Block team are heading to the UCISA26 Leadership Summit at the ACC Liverpool on 17th-19th March 2026.
The annual summit brings together digital leaders from across the UK’s higher education sector to discuss emerging priorities and sector challenges.
This year’s event will focus on unlocking outstanding leadership in IT during what UCISA says is ‘a challenging period of sustained change’.
Higher education attendees can expect keynote talks and panel discussions, as well as advice from expert exhibitors in the digital and education space, including Block.
Supporting digital leaders with industry challenges
We’ve seen digital leaders tasked with confronting big issues in the sector over the past few years. These include:
- Keeping sensitive data secure from state-sponsored cyber attacks and beyond.
- Moderating AI usage in education and deploying safe policies fast.
- Remaining data compliant especially during cloud adoption.
- Supporting remote learning and providing home-from-home experiences.
- Defining digital strategy and leadership that works towards a smart campus.
- Leaning into innovation to stay competitive while facing budget cuts.
We’re excited to support more universities in tackling these challenges as they modernise and strengthen their infrastructure in readiness for smart campuses.
So far, our expert teams have worked with universities such as Queen Mary University of London. Here, we’ve doubled the pace of network troubleshooting, decreased help desk complaints, and deployed high-grade connectivity across campus to thousands of devices. This only unlocks more opportunities for innovation.
You can find Block at stand 19 at UCISA26.
We’ll show you what’s possible for your university when it comes to network infrastructure, collaboration tools, and smart building technology.
